Join the waitlist and use your invite code
Remem Cloud is invite-only during the alpha. How the waitlist works, where your invite appears and how to use it.

Remem Cloud only creates accounts that bring an invite code, and the downloads are only offered to people who have been invited. The waitlist is how invites are given out.
Join the waitlist
- Go to remempass.org/join.
- Enter your Email. Optionally, say what you would use Remem for.
- Tick that you agree to the Terms and have read the Privacy notice, and that you are 16 or older. Product news emails are optional.
- Select Join the waitlist, then open the link we email you and select Confirm and continue.
A sign-up that is never confirmed is deleted after 7 days. Once confirmed, your account page shows your place in the queue.
When your invite arrives
We admit people in queue order, in small groups. When it is your turn, we email you an invite code, and it also appears on your account page under Status, together with the Downloads section.
- Sign in at remempass.org/signin. We email you a sign-in link; there is no website password.
- On your account page, download Remem for macOS and install it.
- Open Remem. When it asks where to keep your vault, choose Remem Cloud (sync.remempass.org).
- Enter your email address and paste the invite code into Invite code, then finish creating your vault.
The code works once, and only for creating a vault account. Using it marks your website account as joined.
Your website account and your vault account are separate
The website account at remempass.org only proves you control an email address. It holds your waitlist place, invite and email preferences. Your vault account is created in the app and lives on the sync server. The invite is the only link between them. Deleting one does not delete the other.
What if…
The invite code is refused
The app says “That invite code was not accepted. Check it, or ask for a new one.” Check you pasted the whole code, and that it hasn’t already been used to create a vault. If it still fails, write to hello@remempass.org.
I don’t want Remem Cloud
You don’t need an invite to use Remem with your own sync server (its source is shared on request during the alpha) or with This Device Only. You still need an invited website account to download the app during the alpha.
The sign-in link has expired
Sign-in links last 15 minutes and work once. Ask for a new one at remempass.org/signin.
